Andrzej Byrt as the member of the Chapter of the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland
The President of the Republic Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, appointed the Chapter of the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland. The final gala will be held on 2 June 2014 at Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie during 2nd General National Exhibition. The President of the Board of MTP, Andrzej Byrt, was appointed as the member of the chapter.
The ceremony took place on March 20 at the Belvedere. - I truly hope that in the year of the 25th anniversary of economic freedom in Poland, it will be clearly visible that success depends on those who take risk, who are more disciplined, (...), but mostly on those who have the courage to take on new challenges and sometimes risk a lot - said Bronisław Komorowski.
The Chapter nominates the best enterprises in five categories: Innovation, Presence on the Global Market, Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility, Green Economy and Sustainable Success - it is a new category established to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Freedom Day.
The award ceremony will take place at Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie. It will be combined with the opening of 2nd General National Exhibition, referring to 1st General National Exhibition, held in Poznań in 1929. 1st Exhibition presented the achievements of the ten-year period of 2nd Republic of Poland, 2nd General Exhibition will be devoted to the most important achievements of Poland between 1989-2014.
The members of the Chapter of the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland are 21 representatives of universities, public institutions and the media. Wiesław Rozłucki, PhD., has been appointed the President of the Chapter of the Economic Award. Wiesław Rozłucki is the Chairman of Exchange Supervisory Board, who continues his function as the President of the Chapter since its first term between 2011-2013.

The Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland is a continuation of awards awarded between 1998-2005. President Bronisław Komorowski resumed it in 2011. Within three editions of the award, the President awarded 12 winners from among 36 nominees selected by the chapter.
